Timberglen Holiday Hours


The Timberglen Branch will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th and be closed all Christmas Day, December 25th. The branch will resume regular hours until New Year's Eve, when the branch will close at 5pm, and remain closed New Year's Day, January 1, 2008. Happy Holidays to everyone!

The Timberglen Branch Library Book Club meets the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the library at 18505 Midway Road, north of Frankford Road.
The Book Club is a discussion of the book selected for the month by club members and new members are always welcome.

Timberglen Book Club
Meetings will be held on the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. This is not a book review, rather a group which welcomes all new members for an interesting and participative discussion. January 29th will be a discussion of “Ursula, Under” by Ingrid Hill and February 26th will be “How to be Good” by Nick Hornby. Books are available at the circulation desk or ask a librarian. Poetry in the Glen: Every third Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the classroom.
Share your poetry or poetry-writing experiences. Listen to others' poems or discuss your own. Meetings will take place every third Tuesday of the month. For more information, contact Shon Gray at 214-284-9620.

Basic Computer Class: Classes will take place the 4th Saturday of the month at 1pm beginning with January 26th. First class will cover computer and internet basics. Spots are limited. Please register at the information desk or call 214-671-1365.

Teen Book Club: January 14th, 6:30 p.m.

Pre-School Storytime: Every Monday and Saturday at 10:30 am Stories, songs and crafts for children aged 18 months to 5 years of age and their parents or caregivers.
